From The CSDL Board
Nominations for President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer with elections being held at the Banquet.  The Board will also be looking for volunteers to serve on the Tournament and Ethics committees.

 

The Board invites all CSDL and Junior League members to participate in the
2nd Annual Hank Schilberg Memorial Dart Tournament
Followed by the Fall League and Junior League Banquet at the Retired Enlisted Association on 20 Jan 2007 beginning at 10 AM.

 

Also the Board would like to congratulate the City Champions.  “A” Division:  Bullhitters (Knob Hill Lounge).  “AA” Division:  Full of Bull (Dead Ant Tavern).  Masters Division:  Hank Shanks (Erin Inn).

 

The Men's All Stars was held on Saturday, December 16, 2006 at the Dead Ant Tavern, the Women's All Stars was held at Oscar's Pub on December 16, 2006.  Masters Division: All Stars are:  Dave Legare and Sally Wilmore.  AA Division:  All Stars are:  Jesse Mobley Jr. and Kathi Smith.  A Division:  All Stars are:  Scott Oaks and Teresa Hurt.

 

The CSDL looking to recruit new “A” Division players.  Any league member that recruits a new “A” Division player will receive 50% off their next season dues as well the new player will also receive a 50% discount.

 

From the ADO Representative

There will be two more qualifiers for the upcoming ADO Masters Regional to be held March 12, 2007.  The qualifiers will be held at Oscar’s Pub on January 27, and February 3, 2007.  Play will begin at 12:00 Noon.  The following people qualified from the first set of four qualifiers:  Damon Blanchard, Jon Bryant, Fred Garcia, Kathi Smith, Reba Freese, and Liz Blanchard.

 

Juniors the league will be running a season long contest.  The player that brings in the most new people throughout the season will win a prize.


                Rules


RULE 3:  SPORTSMANSHIP

 

A.  Good sportsmanship shall be displayed at all times.

 

B.  Any attempts to distract an opponent will not be tolerated.  Complaints may result in the Rules Committee’s taking disciplinary action.

 

C.  All League members shall be in control of their darts at all times during match play.  Darts will not be thrown at anything other than the dartboard.

 

D.  Profane and/or vulgar language will not be tolerated.

 

E.  The above articles apply to all players, sponsors, and spectators.

 

F.  Throwing of any other objects will not be tolerated.

 

G.  Any member observing a violation of these rules is responsible to report such violations.  Failure to do so may cause disciplinary actions by the Rules Committee.

The CSDL is looking for old trophies for recycling to support the Junior League.  Trophies can be dropped off at Oscars Pub or the Dead Ant Tavern.   Also any Board Member will accept the trophies.
