CONGRATULATIONS

For qualifying for the US Team National Event to be held in Denver Co. on 6 October 2007

 

The CSDL Board meeting was held on 11 September and approved the following actions:  All Star invitees have been extended to include the top eight (8) men and women form each division.  And the board has added the position of Webmaster as a voting member.


                Rules

RULE 38:  PENALTIES

A.  Phone Calls.  The results must be called into the recorder by 12:00 noon the day after the match.  The penalties for failure in doing this are as follows:

1.  1st violation - Written reprimand

2.  2nd violation - 3 points subtracted

3.  3rd and subsequent violations - 5 points each

4.  The last week of the regular season, there will be a minimum of 3 points assessed. 

B.  Score sheets.  The League Statistician must receive the score sheets 7 days after a match.  The score sheet must be post marked no later than the day after the match, or 3 points will be assessed.  Missing score sheets will be published each week under the special mentions section of the weekly standings.  The point loss can be reduced to 1 point by sending a duplicate copy of the score sheet to the statistician.  This must be received by the statistician within 7 days after Publication of statistics.

C.  Forfeit match score sheets.  The winning team Captain must fill out a score sheet and it must be called in.  The Score sheet will be marked as a Forfeit, and will include the winning team’s lineup.  Non-compliance will result in the winning team being penalized 1 point.

D.  The following score sheet errors will cause a 1 point penalty:

1.  1 point against the home team for:

a. No Date;

b. No Day / Division

c. Match score not correctly totaled.

 

2.  1 point against the offending team for:

a. No team name or wrong name;

b. QP’s not indicated at the side of the players name;

c. Not listing the players first and last name legibly the first time that players name appears on the line-up.

d. Not writing in the first name legibly in subsequent line-ups.

e. Not writing the name in correct space.

f. Writing offensive words on the score sheet.

The CSDL is looking for old trophies for recycling to support the Junior League.  Trophies can be dropped off at Oscars Pub or the Dead Ant Tavern.   Also any Board Member will accept the trophies.
